UNIFORM
INTRODUCTION
The Blackwood High School Uniform Policy is strongly supported by the School Governing Council, parents, staff and students.
All students who enrol at Blackwood High School are expected to proudly wear the school uniform because it:
- - assists with the safety and care of students by identifying them as Blackwood High School students
- - provides appropriate, cost effective clothing suited to a wide range of teaching and learning activities
- - developes discipline in the wearing of a prescribed uniform, often required by employers
- - reduces competition in dressing
- - enhances the positive reputation of Blackwood High School in the wider community
