Blackwood High School - Student Representative Council
The Student Representative Council (SRC) involves students from all year levels. Interested students from each year level form year level committees and these committees contribute two students to the SRC Executive.
The year level committees work with their year level managers to consult students in their year levels about issues of interest and concern, and arrange activities.
The Executive coordinates consultation, organises representation on school committees and oversees school wide activities. The President of the SRC is elected by the Year 12 committee and the Vice President from the year 10 committee.
The SRC is supported by a staff member who provides training to all the students involved and works with the Executive.
Each year the SRC Executive trains the Mitcham Hills College Student Council (students from all MHC schools). The Year 10 Vice President chairs the MHC Student Council.
